About Us
Joan Kingsbury — the owner of Joan K Design — has been a decorative artist for over 25 years. After graduating cum laude with a bachelor of arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University, spending a semester at Kyoto University in Japan, and taking various courses and guest lecturing at Rhode Island School of Design, she took her love of art and color and combined it with her 15 years of experience in the corporate business environment. This allows Joan the flexibility to work creatively and collaboratively in many different mediums in a professional and ethical manner.
